Each and every wedding I photograph is special to me. Being able to witness and photograph the joining of two people and their families is just always incredible and heartwarming. Call me a cheeseball, but I can't help but just melt! And what gets me even more, (if that's possible) is when I am photographing the wedding of someone I know.
Bride Karissa and I actually go back all the way to elementary school!! We had class together as 3rd and 4th graders, and continued through the same school for so many years to follow. When she approached me about photographing her wedding, I may have screamed a little. She is a truly wonderful person who deserves all of the happiness in the world, and seeing her find that with her husband Kevin, and their adorable son Kaiden, is so wonderful.
Their wedding took place at a beautiful venue in Northern Colorado, complete with a classic big red barn and the most beautiful little details and finishing touches.
