Not a lot makes my heart sing quite like the way the Rocky Mountains do. They are majestic, they are home, and they sure do make a pretty amazing place for a wedding ;)
Bride Bridgette and I met through a mutual friend, both of us living in San Diego! We bonded quickly over Colorado being our home state, and how much we couldn’t wait to be living back there one day.
Bridgette and her guy James said “I do” at the beautiful Evergreen Lakehouse in the heart of Evergreen, Colorado. This rustic, log style cabin lakehouse sits in a valley completely surrounded by incredible mountain views, right on the sparkling lake. Yes, IT IS AS EPIC AS IT SOUNDS.
Friends & family gathered on the deck over the water, as Bridgette and James exchanged vows and committed their lives to one another. It was seriously so beautiful and perfect.
After the ceremony, we all headed down to Denver for their party, to yet another epic location: Mile High Station. You guys, this place was insane! Mile High Station was formerly a steel and ironworking building, that was renovated and converted into an event venue several years ago. If you geek out over that kind of stuff like me, I highly encourage you to check out their website to read more about the history! It’s truly a special place.
Perfectly fitting for the classy couple that Bridgette and James are, the space was decorated with dimly lit candles, white florals, and just the most perfect little details. I was in awe when I walked in! The couple was greeted with tons of enthusiasm and the night continued with good energy, heart felt toasts, and LOTS of dancing (shoutout to Jason with Elite Entertainment!)
This Colorado wedding was one to remember. Here are some highlights of my favorite photos below!
